Neiman brings more than 17 years of nonprofit and marketing experience to the role. At MIND, Neiman will be responsible for managing the organization’s marketing plans and activities that promote and enhance the organization's initiatives, which include the visual instructional ST Math® program, the MathMINDs initiative, which brings math out of the classroom, as well as future research and development projects. “Liz Neiman brings excitement, energy and creativity to our organization and mission,” said Brett Woudenberg, CEO of MIND. “She is a welcome addition to our leadership team and I look forward to the fresh perspective that her vast nonprofit experience will bring to our marketing efforts.” Neiman most recently served as Senior Director of Communications and Public Relations of American National Standards Institute (ANSI), a national nonprofit focused on the U.S. standards and conformity assessment system. Prior to that, she was Director of Communications and Public Relations, and Communications Manager at ANSI. She has also served in multiple marketing roles at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, an architectural firm. “I am thrilled to join the MIND leadership team and to bring my creative and strategic marketing and communications experience to the organization,” said Neiman. “As a parent, MIND’s mission is profoundly resonant, and I am excited to be part of an organization whose products, research, and mission make a difference for kids everywhere.” She assumes the position previously held by Karin Wu, who was promoted to Executive Vice President/Executive Director of Social Impact in September, 2018.
